Vibe: Iconic orange-and-white umbrellas, boat arrivals and long Amalfi lunches. Glamorous without losing the slightly chaotic charm that makes Positano fun.

Vibe: The Pink Palace takes to the sea. Pink-and-white parasols, loungers tucked into the rocks, a little pool and direct access to the Tyrrhenian. Extremely pretty, very Ravello and just the right amount of ridiculous.

Vibe: Tucked at the far end of Spiaggia Grande with one of the best perspectives back towards Positano. Polished, private and considerably calmer than the beach next door.

Vibe: The original Saint-Tropez lunch. Barefoot, understated and almost aggressively uninterested in being trendy – which is precisely why it still is.

Vibe: Arrive by boat. Order lunch. Watch lunch gradually become a party. Very Côte d’Azur, very glamorous and not remotely interested in an early night.

CALA LLAMP, MALLORCA, SPAIN
Vibe: Built into the rocks above startlingly blue water, with pools, terraces and a slightly White Lotus quality to the whole thing. One of Mallorca’s prettiest places to lose an afternoon.

Vibe: Playful Riviera rather than old-school Riviera. Colourful parasols, Mediterranean food and enough personality to stand out on a coastline with no shortage of beautiful places to lunch.

Vibe: Dolce & Gabbana’s unmistakable Maiolica prints take over one of Sardinia’s most glamorous stretches of coastline. Yellow, maximalist and impossible to mistake for anywhere else.

Vibe: Dior’s pristine resort aesthetic dropped into an already spectacular Turkish bay. White parasols, branded pool details and exactly the sort of place that makes your normal swimming pool look rather disappointing.

Vibe: Jacquemus does Mediterranean minimalism particularly well, so this collaboration feels almost suspiciously natural against Mandarin Oriental’s private bay. Fashiony without looking like a billboard.
