Pierchic – Oh so Chic. Dubai, UAE

From the three Michelin-starred French chef Laurent Gras is one of my firm favourite restaurants. Full. Stop.

Being an avid visitor of Dubai, it is difficult to find a restaurant that is more than just gold, gimmicks and over-trying.

Enter Pierchic. Located at my ever-favourite hotel in Dubai (Al Qasr, Madinat Jumeirah), it is a a high-end Mediterranean seafood restaurant with an “over-the-water dining experience” with beautiful, sea views of Arabian Gulf, the Dubai coastline, Palm Jumeirah and the iconic Burj Al Arab.

As well as a huge choice of seafood and Oysters, they have an outstanding main menu. My classic winner are either the, Whole Fish of the Day for Two – Baked in Salt Crust, Lemon Butter, Chanterelle Relish, Butter Lettuce, or the Dover Sole Meunière – Spinach, Wild Mushroom, Champagne Essence.

Yes, yes this is a fish restaurant, but should you be with someone who isnt so great with all things seafood, then I would reccomend the Roasted Wagyu Beef Tenderloin with Seared Foie Gras, Kale, Sautéed Mushrooms… As you know, I am almost militantly anti-Kale usually, but they manage to make this dish delicious even with the Kale.

They are soon to release the new additional space for Pierchic in the shape of two new “pods”. One that will act as a bar, “Chic Bar” and the other will be a lounge. This is the place that you want to be when the sun sets.
